When can you withdraw from an agreement?

When you sign an agreement with us remotely, for example via Online Banking, on the app or via telephone, you have the right to withdraw from that agreement within 14 days.

This right does not apply to all products and services, however. For example, it does not apply for equities, funds or other financial instruments whose pricing is affected by the market and is not determined by the Bank.

  • Which agreements can I withdraw from?

    Within 14 days of signing, the following are examples of agreements you can withdraw from:

    • Framtidskonto, Placeringskonto, Bunden Placering
    • Bankkort Start, Bankkort Mastercard, Allkort and Platinum
    • Down payment loan, Bridging loan
    • ISK savings account, Depå privat custody account

    If your product or service is not listed here, or if more than 14 days have passed since you signed the agreement, you can still contact us via your inbox on Online Banking or the app.

    Remember that you cannot withdraw from agreements regarding equities, funds or other financial instruments whose pricing is not determined by the Bank.

  • What information do you need from me?

    If you would like to withdraw from an agreement, please send us a message via your inbox on Online Banking or the app. In the message, you need to include:

    • That you would like to withdraw from an agreement.
    • The product or service the withdrawal concerns.
  • What should we do if there are multiple signatories to the agreement?

    If more than one person has signed the agreement, each of you will have to send a separate message via your own inbox. The message must state that you wish to withdraw from an agreement, and specify which agreement the withdrawal concerns.

  • Can I withdraw from agreements on behalf of my child?

    Yes, you can send a message via your inbox if you would like to withdraw from an agreement for your child. If the child has more than one guardian, each of you will have to send a separate message.
