About the right of withdrawal

When can you withdraw from an agreement?

When you sign an agreement with us remotely, for example via Online Banking, on the app or via telephone, you have the right to withdraw from that agreement within 14 days.

This right does not apply to all products and services, however. For example, it does not apply for equities, funds or other financial instruments whose pricing is affected by the market and is not determined by the Bank.

How to withdraw from an agreement

Log in and use the Agreement withdrawal form. In Online Banking, you can find it under My profile, and in the app under Settings – My profile.

  • Which agreements can I withdraw from?

    Within 14 days of signing, the following are examples of agreements you can withdraw from:

    • Framtidskonto, Placeringskonto, Bunden Placering
    • Bankkort Start, Bankkort Mastercard, Allkort and Platinum
    • Down payment loan, Bridging loan
    • ISK savings account, Depå privat custody account

    If your product or service is not listed here, or if more than 14 days have passed since you signed the agreement, you can still use the Agreement withdrawal form and we will help you terminate the agreement.

    Remember that you cannot withdraw from agreements regarding equities, funds or other financial instruments whose pricing is not determined by the Bank.

  • What information do you need from me?

    If you would like to withdraw from an agreement, use Agreement withdrawal. In the form you need to include:

    • The product or service the withdrawal concerns
    • The agreement number
  • Where can I find my agreement number?

    You can find your agreement number in your Agreement appendix, which is available in your inbox under Correspondence. Search for “agreement” to see all your recent agreements.

    For accounts and cards, the agreement number is the same as the account number and card number.

  • What should we do if there are multiple signatories to the agreement?

    If more than one person has signed the agreement, each of you will have to send a separate notice of withdrawal using the Agreement withdrawal form, using the same agreement number.

  • Can I withdraw from agreements on behalf of my child?

    Yes, you can use the Agreement withdrawal form if you would like to withdraw from an agreement on behalf of your child. If there is more than one guardian, each guardian must submit a separate notice of withdrawal using the same agreement number.
