To ensure the highest level of security and best funcionality we recommend that you always have the latest version of the BankID security application installed.

(Note that you only have to perform the second step of the installation if you have an older version of the application installed on your computer. The driver is already installed in that case.)
New type of log-on card
Handelsbanken will shortly start to distribute a new type of log-on card. To be able to use the new card to log on with cable, you need to have version 4.18 or later of the BankID security application installed on your computer. To log on wthout cable, no installation of the application is required.
Note that you need to have version 4.18.1 or later to use the new card to send files to Bankgirocentralen with BGCom or BGLink.
